Spent an idyllic day, installing  ‘A Herd of Deer’ sculptures at Bothy Vineyard, near Oxford for a forthcoming exhibition ‘Sculpture in the Vineyard’ featuring a range of contemporary sculpture. Unfortunately I was driving so couldn’t sample the goods.

Sculpture at Doddington

Just spent a really enjoyable day installing my work at the beautiful Doddington Hall for the forthcoming sculpture exhibition. I’m showing two of my more contemporary sculptures, The Tulip and Samarkand which aren’t featured on the website along with a swathe of The Wild Clematis seedheads.

The Tulip
More abstract and 3 dimensional than some of […]

Sculpture at Showborough

Just got back from installing my work at Showborough House for the forthcoming sculpture exhibition. Just outside the riverside village of Twyning, near Tewkesbury, it’s always a pleasure to visit being smaller and more informal than some exhibitions. Despite the recent weather the garden was starting to come into flower and I was particularly […]

Amazing Sculptures by Tony Cragg

It’s a skill that’s fairly hard to come by in the south but still exists in Sheffield, probably as a result of the cutlery industry. I can always remember as a boy walking the backstreets and seeing rows of men […]

The 500 acre  park set in rolling countryside is an open-air gallery showing sculptures by the likes of Henry Moore, Barbara Hepworth, Andy Goldsworthy and hosts […]
