Bukhara, a new contemporary sculpture for the garden

Had an amazing sunset last night and I managed to grab a few quick photos of a new sculpture that I finished earlier in the day. I’ve named the sculpture ‘Bukhara’ after a beautiful town that I visited in Uzbekistan.

The sculpture is influenced by the geometric designs that are found in the mosaics […]

Contemporary metal wall art with a coastal theme

The Sandpiper corten steel wall panel is a new design with coastal theme.

I’m lucky to live near the shores of Chichester harbour on the south coast and the simplistic design is based on the scene that I often observe during early morning walks along the foreshore.

The design lends itself to both traditional and more […]

Khiva sculpture, fabulous sunset

We had a fabulous sunset the other night and I couldn’t resist getting the camera out and doing a bit of sculpture photograhy.

Really pleased with the photos on my Khiva sculpture silhouetted against the beautiful sky, just a shame I was too late to capture the sun in the central hole as it went […]

Wall art / garden screen using a repeat Cow Parsley design

A larger garden screen or piece of wall art based again on a repeat pattern my Cow Parsley design.

The design is Laser cut from corten steel that is left to oxidise naturally forming a richly coloured rust finish. The panel can be hung outside or in. I’m thinking about adding LED lighting to the […]

Khiva – new sculpture is finished

Just finished my new sculpture, Khiva and managed to get a quick photo on a dramatic stormy afternoon.

Really pleased with it, a design that I’ve been dabbling with for a while. To be honest it’s turned out a little better than I thought. Already thinking about future developments.

You can view more details of this […]

Sparks Flying – a new sculpture taking shape

Sparks are Flying !

Busy working on a new sculpture design, a fairly large circular piece that I’m planning to mount in stone. This one will be finished with a rusted patina, but I’m already thinking that a stainless steel version with a mirror polish or bronze version with a green verdigris would look great.

Hoping […]

Braganca Sculpture – new stunning version of one of my favorite garden sculptures using a mix of materials

Just finished a new version of one of my favorite garden sculptures ‘Braganca’ named after a beautiful small town in northern Portugal where I first sketched the idea for the piece whilst on holiday. The sculpture was made as a special commission with the client requesting the mix of materials which certainly works.

The new […]
