A new piece based on my Avocets design making for a smaller piece that’s ideal for the smaller garden or Patio. The two birds are mounted on a sleek arcing crescent shape that’s in keeping with the clean lines of the Avocet design with the finished piece being mounted on an oiled Oak plinth.
I’m really pleased with the design and have plans to develop the idea for an interior piece and scaling up the design to make a larger version for the garden, that would make a real impression. Mounted at ground level the piece would be about chest high and could be made from rusted steel or stainless steel with a brushed or mirror polished finish.
